OBJECTIVE
To obtain full-time Software Engineer, Design, or Project Management
position with a growth oriented, progressive company. I want to apply my
technical, design, and project management skills to stimulating projects.
EXPERIENCE
SOFTWARE APPLICATION DESIGN ENGINEERING INTERN, SCIENCE APPLICATION
INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION (SAIC), ORLANDO, FL, FEBURARY 07,2010-PRESENT
(PART-TIME,INTERN)
At SAIC, I am a Software Application Design Engineer where my
responsibilities are to perform software development, analysis, and tests
software specific to iPod/iPhone/ANDROID Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs). I
determined software applications and system specifications, input and
output processes, working parameters to meet requirements, and hardware and
software compatibility. More specifically, I was in charge of creating the
data-driven menu system for the Brigade Combat Team Modernization (BCTM)
iPhone/iPad/iPod application.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER, PROTECHNICA, ORLANDO, FL, JULY 13,2009-DECEMBER 1, 2009
(FULL-TIME, PERMANENT)
At Protechnica, I was a Software Engineer developing mobile applications
(specifically game applications) for the iPhone/ iPod touch. I have created
six applications where four are on the iTunes store. (Solar Winds,
HallowScan, Business Scanner, BuzzChart). The other two games may be
submitted to the iTunes store (Bar Scanner, Phlares). You can find the
applications listed above in the iTunes Store by searching for XDV8. I have
provided the links to the applications in the iTunes store below. The
Applications that were created were primarily written in the Objective-C
programming language with some features of the C language. In addition, all
applications use the iPhone SDK and some applications used the Cocos2D Open
Source Game Engine.

PURSING A M.S DEGREE IN INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT, UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL
FLORIDA (FULL-TIME), ORLANDO, FL AUGUST 2008- MARCH 2009
After graduating from Mississippi State University, I moved to Orlando,
FL and was pursuing a M.S degree in Interactive Entertainment (Specifically
toward video games or simulation). Due to financial issues and other
issues, I had to stop pursing the M.S degree and had to find a job. Here
are the courses taken and the knowledge I have gained at the University of
Central Florida.
Courses Taken:
Rapid Prototype Development: Learned how to create 2-week games
learning new
technology (Flash CS4, Panda3D Game Engine, Gamebryo Game Engine, Crazy
Eddie GUI System)
Here is a link to the 3D game Arcane Fury that was created by two
programmers, two producers, and one artist that I was involved in.

prototypes
Art 1: Learned the basics of Maya (animation, basic sculpting)
Programming I: Learned 68k assembly and created 4-player pong,
learned low-level C
language details/optimizations and created the game Boggle, understanding
of compression
schemes, game frameworks, and debugging skills. Created a 2D side stroller
game in a two
person team on Windows and then ported the game to the Xbox game console.
Game Design: Learned how the entertainment business works regarding work
schedule,
game budgets, pitching game ideas, management, and communication.
Programming II: Created a cross platform project in Microsoft Visual
Studio 2008 on the Xbox for (OpenGL, DirectX). Also, gained experience with
Perforce.
UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT, HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING
COLLABORATORY(PART-TIME), STARKVILLE, MS May 2005- August 2008
Two years of experience in a computational simulation environment. Served
as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University Thad
Cochran Research Technology & Economic Development Park in the Department
of Computational Simulation & Design where I was in charge of writing a C++
Graphical User Interface (GUI) with the integration of the FLTK library to
help researchers better visualize and manipulate 3D models.
Projects:
Cutting Plane Plot: Written code in C++ to construct planes from 3-
Deminsional
meshes using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.
Graphical User Interface (GUI) Tool: Written code in C++ with the
integration of the
FLTK library for CHEM: Computational Combustion Model - (LOCI) framework
using
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/Cmake to help researchers better visualize and
extract data from
3D models. The GUI application will allow researchers to read in the
geometric data
(Vertices,Faces, etc.) of a model and examine certain surfaces of the model
by using the GUI
interface. Some of the GUI operations are (show/hiding individual surfaces,
changing colormaps,
applying fliters,etc).
