Leading Change
Over 30 years have successfully led various personalities and abilities to
work together in harmony to produce in-depth written or oral materials with
accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. Have encouraged and achieved
positive change in talented individuals to greater vision and service.
Leading People
My entire career has focused on leading individuals and large diverse
groups to achieve greater educational, emotional, and spiritual growth and
to discover their hidden talents. I have successfully led individuals and
large groups to utilize their abilities in a cohesive, friendly manner for
various projects with due diligence.
Results driven
For 11 years I was the Director of an annual 4 day lectureship program.
This work involved the selection of a relevant and practical lectureship
topic, selection of lectureship speakers, delegating to the speakers their
particular subject, requiring all speeches be written and delivered by a
certain deadline for editing and publishing in a hardbound book. Eleven
hardbound lectureship books that have been sold world-wide were produced
from this effort.
Additionally and during the same time frame I was the associate editor of a
world-wide quarterly publication. This work was labor intensive and
schedule driven. Paid subscriptions greatly multiplied during my 11 year
tenure.
Business Acumen
My work as a minister, director, professional college instructor, and now
as an attorney has not been accomplished without competent, enthusiastic co-
workers. It has been my pleasure to work with, not against people, and
with a clearly enunciated direction firmly lead others, and myself, to
greater service and sacrifice. In all great works a sound financial budget
must be maintained, and the acquisition future funds for, as yet
unforeseen, projects must be ongoing. These practicalities have been
extensively applied in all my endeavors.
Building Coalitions
I have been privileged to work as a liaison between business and schools,
between business and the church for various purposes. Some purposes were
fund-raising, some to foster goodwill, and others to contract for products
and services in a cost-effective manner.
