. Partner in a WBE small business currently teaming with other

firms regarding the

performance of A/E design and project management services at

government facilities.

The primary focus is on DOD, GSA plus, other institutional

and transportation

projects. Presently, completing a hangar construction project

at Gary (Indiana) Airport

and under contract to design & build an addition to a

packaging plant in Roselle, Illinois.

(Note: Both of the aforementioned projects are turn-key,

design/build delivery)

General Growth Properties, Inc., Chicago, Illinois

2006 - 2008

Senior Director, Engineering & Design

1. Managed professional engineers and construction professionals

performing due diligence, entitlements acquisition, master planning,

detailed design, cost estimating, scheduling and construction

management activities for major mixed use development projects

nationwide.

2. Accomplishments include, but are not limited to management of the

design & construction of:

1. Public roadways, wet and dry utilities, drainage appurtenances,

signalization and lighting plus, structural and MEP associated

with the buildings (including interior fit-out) for a new, 105

acre mixed use (i.e., retail, office, residential, hospitality,

etc.) development in Miami, FL. The project included a bus

transit center and a medical office building of approximately

200,000 SF plus, restaurants and an entertainment venue on the

out-parcels.

2. The complete renovation of an existing mall in Baltimore, MD

including the addition of two new anchor stores plus, two new

restaurants and a convenience store (with fueling capabilities)

on out-parcels. Also, developed a new public transit center

(light rail and bus) at southwest quadrant of mall property and

upsized the incoming electrical entry service to the expanded

mall facility in order to accommodate increased demand.

3. A new fire detection and alarm system for the Water Tower Place

Mall, Ritz Carlton Hotel and condominium complex in Chicago, IL.

The project also including renovations to the space of a major

anchor tenant (American Girl) plus,

the complete gutting and renovating of an out-

patient surgery center.

4. Demolition and redevelopment of an existing Salt Lake area mall

site into a 750,000 Sq. Ft. urban, planned community (including

site infrastructure) with retail, office towers, hospitality,

residential, parking decks, etc. The entire development was

cooled by a central plant with a two-pipe system.

5. Development of a 107 acre, ground-up, planned community

(including site infrastructure) in Las Vegas including

hospitality and retail space with offices above along a main

boulevard along with parking decks and residential areas

peripheral to the "downtown" area. (Note: LEED Project)

1990 - 2006

National Director, Engineering & Facilities Management

1. Managed architects, engineers, maintenance specialists and

environmentalists engaged in A/E consulting (at franchise locations),

site selection, detailed architectural/engineering design (including

proposal preparation, budgeting, entitlements acquisition, etc.),

construction management (including bidding, contract negotiations,

purchasing and project certification), plus, facility maintenance,

business development and real estate activities at B.S.A. National and

franchise facilities throughout North America.

2. Accomplishments include, but are not limited to management of the

design & construction of:

1. An eight-acre urban, mixed use S. Florida resort community

including an institutional learning center, participant dorms,

multi-story staff apartments, a commercial kitchen/dining

facility plus, retail space and an administrative office

building with a maintenance center that included fueling

facilities. The project also included a sanitary collection

system and wastewater treatment plant for the development plus,

potable water and primary electric distribution systems.

2. An approximate 500,000 SF warehouse/office addition to an

existing manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. Also, upsized

and rebalanced the electric entry service and internal power

distribution system for the existing building.

3. The conversion of an old, tilt-up concrete warehouse in Irving,

Texas into a modern interactive museum by installing a

structural flooring system, adding on a grand lobby and

constructing the exhibits and venues inside. A new central plant

and four-pipe system, along with an energy management system was

installed to control temperature and humidity.

4. A non-invasive MEP upgrade of a historically significant museum

in New Mexico. Electro-thermal heating units were installed in

the existing (decorative) radiator boxes, antique light fixtures

were re-built, etc..

5. A new potable water supply network and sanitary collection

system for Ft. A.P. Hill, Virginia. Also, added onto the

existing wastewater treatment plant and installed new primary

and secondary electrical distribution systems for expanded troop

training areas.

6. Assessed/designed/constructed renovations for a dam retaining a

potable water supply reservoir plus, designed/constructed a 3

mile potable water supply pipeline and micro-filtration plant

for a High Adventure Base in New Mexico. Also, installed a new

potable water distribution system in the base camp

Administrative Area.

7. The restoration and refurbishment of a historically significant

adobe museum in New Mexico including a walled courtyard and "out-

structures". Substantial structural repairs were necessary as

well as improvements to the main museum building envelope in

order to ensure water-tightness.

Ryder Transportation Systems, Inc., Dallas, TX

Western Development/Construction Manager

. Directed real estate, A/E design, budgeting, contract administration

and construction of major transportation facilities throughout central

and western North America including, but not limited to design &

construction of:

1. The service facilities for the Saturn assembly plant in

Springhill, TN. Included all infrastructure plus, parts storage,

new car transport, truck maintenance, logistics, fueling/washing

and driver comfort facilities.

2. Hanger, airplane maintenance, pilot/passenger comfort

facilities, fueling and bulk storage facilities for private air

services operator in Dallas, TX.

3. Multiple (approximately 25) inter-modal freight and truck

maintenance facilities throughout western North America that

included fueling facilities and bulk storage capabilities.

4. Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus/light rail centers plus,

vehicle maintenance, fueling/washing and logistics facilities.

5. A truck body manufacturing plant in Columbia, MO.

6. A chemical truck tanker cleaning facility in Channelview, TX.
