Project: Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS)
The RAPIDS software allows its Department of Defense (DoD) users to create,
modify, and use personnel information stored in DEERS (Defense Enrollment
Eligibility Reporting System) to authorize entitlements and issue ID cards.
The primary ID card issued from RAPIDS is the Common Access Card (CAC). The
CAC verifies the identity of individuals seeking access to government
facilities and information systems. RAPIDS implemented a more secure method
for producing identification (ID) cards. The DEERS database and RAPIDS are
integrally linked because RAPIDS is the primary means for updating
information in DEERS. RAPIDS application is web implemented java based
client/server app.
Environment: CAC enabled web implemented Java based Client/Server
application, KB, oracle 10g
Responsibilities:
. Analyzing project requirement specifications and creating test cases
based on specifications and scopes. Reviewing the test cases with
other team members as well as developers.
. Performing Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression
Testing, Load Balance Testing, Fail Over testing, Certificate Issuance
(CA) testing, Front U/I and Backend testing, Data validation testing,
Unit testing, Smoke Testing, Performance Testing in regular basis.
. Performing hardware testing. This includes hardware that used to
create CAC card. Such as: CAC Card Printer, Camera, Finger Print
Device, bar code and document Scanners.
. Using SQL query language to execute command line query to Update,
Delete, Insert, and Select data from database for validation testing.

. Participate as a POC on weekend testing for new software releases,

Project: Purchase Card On-Line System (PCOLS)
PCOLS is the single DOD-wide, DOD-operated electronic system that purchase
card program officials can use to manage their purchase card programs.
Enterprise Monitoring and Management of Accounts (EMMA) and Authorization,
Issuance and Maintenance (AIM) are part of PCOLS systems. Both EMMA and
AIM are J2EE web applications and they work together for banking institute.
AIM: J2EE web application which used to perform various purchase card
program account authorization and maintenance functions. It
determines who has responsibilities and permission to initiate and
approve requests for purchase card issuance and maintenance. Such as:
updating card transaction/spending limits, changing merchant category
code (MCC) status.
EMMA: J2EE web application which plays supporting roles for AIM
application to create an account, redeem token, select role for
provision, add an organization, add a role, provision an individual as
well as remove a user.
Environment: CAC enabled J2EE web based application, oracle 10g
Responsibilities:
. Work with system analyst to create test cases based on project
requirement specifications and scopes. Reviewing the test cases with
other team members as well as developers.
