KOHLS CORPORATION
4/2010 TO PRESENT- Loss Prevention
Provide Security for the Kohls Photo Studio. Liaison with
Law Enforcement on any incidents. Conduct internal
investigations on incidents and accidents. File reports.
Monitor, set, and respond to alarms and burglary and fire
alarm systems.
HSS SECURITY
1/2010 TO 4/2010- Security Supervisor HSS Corporation
Provide security supervision at All Saints Hospital in
Racine, Wisconsin.
VILLAGE OF JACKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT- 7 years 11/2002 to
11/2009 - Lieutenant of Police- Second in command of
department. Perform the responsibilities of the Chief of
Police when he was unavailable. Responsibilities included
leading and supervising Police Officers at major crime
scenes, investigations, internal investigations, and other
police related duties, in addition to Accreditation Manager
for the department (rewrote the entire policy manual for
the department), presentations to the Public Safety
Committee and Village Board, budgetary issues, training and
work schedules, disciplinary investigations and reports,
handling citizen complaints, personnel issues, and other
personnel and administrative duties.

Developed skills in interviewing, problem solving, working
independently, team leading, organizational, interpersonal,
and decision making while completing complex tasks in a
thorough and professional manner. Achieved the praise of
supervisors, citizens and fellow officers and detectives.
1999- Lieutenant of Detectives
Continued to use my skills and became a leader in the
Criminal Investigation Bureau's Sensitive Crimes and
Homicide Units. Managed personnel assigned to the most
important cases law enforcement deals with Sexual Assault,
Child Abuse, and Homicide. Supervised staffing and
personnel needs, conducted investigations involving
liability issues for the City of Milwaukee, internal
matters, administered budgetary issues such as payroll and
overtime expenditures, led work teams in task oriented
issues, acted as a liaison to other agencies such as Bureau
of Child Welfare, Circuit Courts, Prosecutor's Offices,
Medical Examiner's Offices, federal agencies such as the
FBI and ATF, various top government administrators such as
the Mayor, County Executive, the Common Council, the
Milwaukee Public Schools, and other local, state and
federal officials, and was involved in several multi agency
problem solving and policy setting advisory groups. I was
one of the lead supervisory members whose task it was to
investigate police related shootings- both criminal and
internal. Retired September, 2001.
