Re: Stephen L Smith LVN

September 27, 2010

I had the opportunity to serve with Stephen while in Iraq. He served in the capacity and under my

supervision as a proficient Anesthesia Technician. His duties consisted of assisting the CRNA with

preparation of scheduled and emergency cases. These duties included general, regional and

monitored anesthesia techniques. He was also proficient in assisting with induction and emergence

when required.

Some of his other duties consisted of rapid turnover of the anesthesia equipment to assure that all

equipment was appropriately prepared for future cases.

He was proficient in maintaining proper supply quantities, and assured that all necessary supplies

and equipment were maintained.

Stephen was always available to assist and eager to learn new procedures. He functioned well

under stressful conditions, always available to help where needed.

Stephen has an outstanding work ethic and works well with others. He was always willing to learn

new techniques and case preparations, he also functions well as a mentor to others, eager to share

his knowledge with others.

I would highly recommend Stephen for the position that he is applying for. Feel free to contact me.
