The Maintenance Manager responsibilities include conducting daily and
weekly maintenance meetings ensuring that production schedules, work order
status, vessel / component forms and records are submitted in a timely and
accurate reporting of vessel and equipment status. Serve as liaison
between operational elements and higher echelon insuring accurate
communication and reporting. Other responsibilities included monitor and
manage clerical and administrative information/report status of major
events associated with processing work orders, statistical, data,
transcribing, man hours, financial transactions, quarterly maintenance

. As the Project Manager developed a reporting procedure for a U.S. Army
Safety of Use Message (SOUM) which resulted in successfully repairing all
emergency safety deficiencies on U.S. Army watercraft by suspense date.

600 maintenance work orders. Also managed and coordinated maintenance work
orders for various classes of U.S. Army Watercraft for Tri-Annual Shipyard

Billing Official/Contracting Officer. Successfully directed and managed
various civilian vendors and government suppliers. Enforced maintenance

trained, mentored, developed and maintained responsibility for the welfare
of two Warrant Officers and ten enlisted Soldiers. Scheduled, directed,

supervised the Preventative Maintenance program; maintenance and repair of
all engine room machinery spaces, deck, and auxiliary equipment.
Coordinated with Direct/General Support Section in support of Depot
activities.
Served as the Vessel Supply/Budgeting Officer and liaison between military
and international and civil agencies successfully directing and negotiating
terms with various vendors throughout the Pacific Rim including Australia,

. Led project planning and management as the Chief Engineer for the High
Speed Vessel Joint Venture X-1 in Hobart, Tasmania Australia. Oversaw the

engine removal/replacement project, upgrade of Heating Ventilation and Air
Conditioning system (HVAC), and electrical and electronic components
during the vessels Ship yard repair.
. Successfully established and managed cost, budget/schedule reports, and
performance of the ship's on-board spare parts and company budget totaling

functional managers to plan vessel maintenance, operational readiness,
project management polices and procedures, and supply operations.

Craft Utility (LCU) 2000 series vessels and 10 ground vehicles with a value
over $52 million. Manage and coordinate maintenance projects to include On
Condition Cyclic Maintenance (OCCM), Modification Work Order (MWO), and
Class IX repair parts request for both ground equipment and vessels.
Supervise and coordinate vessel work order scheduling, meeting mission and
training requirements. Plans, prepares, issues and controls production
schedules of vessel /component forms and records to ensure the timely and
accurate reporting of vessel and equipment status.
. Effectively implemented and managed multiple projects and saving the
Battalion Command over $42,000 by procuring much needed Oxygen Breathing
Devices (OBD) for the vessels as well as Emergency Escape Breathing
Devices (EEBD) and saved over $40,000 by identifying discrepancies.
. Served as the Project Manager in the planning and execution of all ground
equipment and 8 U.S. Army Landing Craft Utility (LCU), during the unit's
deactivation process, totaling over $2,000,000 in value. Efficiently and
with minimal cost successfully planned and managed the lateral transfer
and preparation of 7 Landing Craft Utility (LCU) to be towed to Hythe,
England for prepositioning and one vessel to Fort Eustis, VA.
. Led project planning and management of internal resources for diesel
marine engine, 16 ton air conditioning system, and bow anchor
removal/replacement projects, formulating strategies to improve business
and operational readiness.
