Qualifications
Over the past few years I have gained considerable knowledge and experience
in the marketing, communications, & customer service fields. I've
diversified my experience level from PR to sales to mid-management in very
different career veins. In my most recent endeavor, I've honed my ability
to work in a team atmosphere and have learned valuable management skills.
In four years plus working for Wisconsin Mutual I have grasped a full
knowledge of the claims process, learned the basics to underwriting, and
gained further marketing experience. I have also been an active participant
in bringing forth ideas and strategies to improve the overall claims
process at WMI. I have three years of experience in media relations working
within the athletic department at the University of Minnesota where my
writing was published and I contributed to the creative development of
media guides, programs, brochures, and other marketing collateral. In my
career I've also gained marketing and sales experience working for MPI Coin
Inc., MarketLine Research Inc. and Office Max.

Experience
Claims Representative, Wisconsin Mutual Insurance Co.; Dec. 2006 - present
I manage the Milwaukee claims office for Wisconsin Mutual Insurance. I deal
with all liability, personal injury, medical payment, property claims that
occur in Southeastern Wisconsin. I handle subrogation procedures &
arbitration hearings with other insurance companies as well. I coordinate
claims investigations, make adjustments on claims and make decisions on
coverage/denials to claims. I have honed management skills in working with
inside adjusters and my claims assistants, and have gained valuable
experience in teamwork by working on projects with other adjusters,
supervisors, underwriters, agents, our legal team, clients and contractors.
Sr. Sales Associate, MPI Coin Inc.; Dec. 2005 - Dec. 2006
With this position I managed over 650 current accounts with the company,
providing them with marketing advice, customer service and selling them
items from MPI's product line. I also worked on campaigns to bring in new
accounts to the company, and attended trade conventions for financial
institutions to find prospects for new business. I aided in numerous
projects in the areas of product development, employee training, business
proposal drafting and graphic editing.
