Objective

I am seeking a position as a security officer or in the law enforcement field. I

have six years of experience as a correctional officer and would like to have

the opportunity to work in a field other than corrections.

I provided security over adult offenders at the institution and

while in transport. I supervised the daily activities of offenders.

I am experienced in cell extractions, shaking down cells, and

putting on handcuffs and leg irons. I was also a field training

officer for new officers coming out of the academy. I had to do

yearly certifications with the VA Department of Corrections in

the 38 revolver, AR 15 rifle, and 20 inch and 26 inch shotguns.

In 2007, I received a certificate of completion for information

technology security awareness training.
