Under teacher supervision, to assist, tutor and train students individually

or in groups in a classroom or similar learning situations, following a

prescribed course of study; to oversee and supervise students; to perform

clerical and paraprofessional work inside the classroom and to do related

work as may be required. Assists the teacher in devising special strategies

for enforcing material or skills based on a sympathetic understanding of

individual students, their needs, interests and abilities. Alerts teacher

to any problem or special information about an individual student.

Instruct students on the fundamentals of self defense. Maintain a good

memory for names and faces. Develop a student/teacher relationship with

each member of the class. Responsible for the well being and safety of

each student during instruction.
