Master of Science in Electrical Engineering Aug 2008 – Aug 2010
Texas Tech University, TX GPA: 3.75
Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering Sep 2004 – May 2008
Acharya Nagarjuna University, India (Best Outgoing Student) GPA: 3.77
Technical Skills
Simulation Tools: MATLAB, VHDL, Verilog, ModelSim, ANSYS, OrCAD, PSpice, AUTOCAD
Programming Languages: C and Data Structures, C++, 8086 Assembly Level Language
Automated Test Equipment: Mirror Master, VLCT
Operating Systems: Unix, Windows NT/2000/2003, Windows XP/Vista/7
Software and Packages: MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
Academic Projects
Design of CMOS Op-Amp: Designed a schematic of CMOS op-amp using the folded cascode structure with differential input and
single-ended output. Tool used: Cadence OrCAD PSpice
Testing of digital device on VLCT: Performed functional tests on the 8-bit counter - SN74LS161AN on Texas Instrument's VLCT.
Tests performed: Continuity, Functionality, VOH, VOL, Propagation Delay and Pin Leakage.
Embedded Design and Digital Signal Processing: Passed stereo audio through DSK6713 and used its switches to control the volume. Used
DMA to move voice data in blocks on DSK6713 and designed a moving average filter. Designed 3 band equalizer (Low pass, Band pass,
High pass) and implemented on DSK6713 board and FPGA.
Tools Used: MATLAB, Code Composer Studio
Design of RISC Processor: Designed a tiny processor in Verilog and simulated using ModelSim. Created the assembly code and
decoder ROM output of the RISC processor to perform division. Built the RISC processor using Verilog and used division algorithm
to check the functionality.
Telecommunications Networks: Analyzed the working of DHCP using packet traffic and how IP addresses are assigned using
"ipconfig". Analyzed the working of UDP by sending an UDP packet and observed in terms of sniffed network traffic. Analyzed the
working of TCP by sending a large file between two PCs using windows and studied the opening and closing of TCP connections in
terms of sniffed network traffic.
