Engine Mechanic

Assembled an engine to integrate into a new vehicle to compete at the end of the year. Machined adapter plate by

using a milling machine to accommodate new overhead valve design. Constructed fairing of the vehicle using

carbon fiber. Received second place at the Shell Eco Marathon by achieving 1200 miles per gallon.

SENIOR DESIGN PROJECT,

Systems Engineer

Designed an automated parking structure for electric taxicabs using Solidworks. Developed MATLAB code for

taxi entry system. Calculated structure’s overall energy needs. Implemented solar panel system to help offset the

cost of electricity.

Designed and built a motor bicycle. Developed toggle mechanism to engage and disengage motor using

Solidworks. Machined shaft to couple motor with back tire using a lathe machine. Machined battery compartment
