WebFOCUS BI Application Consultant / Developer
Business Intelligence development initiative to produce critical
reports for the Client's $14 billion, AAA-Rated Life Insurance
business and Sales Agency operations.
The Client was converting from legacy mainframe infrastructure to
distributed processing featuring Windows and Unix Servers. Our team's
challenge was to produce critical BI reports from the new Data
Warehouse.
Worked closely with Business Users, SMEs and the Conversion Team to
gather, refine and document the Client's functional requirements.
I was tasked with development and reconciliation of the highly
critical Production Detail (PDR) and Agency Statistical (ASR) Reports.
These reports were converted from legacy COBOL / DB2 "green bar"
presentation to highly portable and searchable PDF documents within
the new Data Warehouse and BI infrastructure.
