Team was responsible for the Version Management of CNA's code. CNA has
monthly code releases. SCM is a responsible for moving code from
environments, and ensures that development has no access to the code in non-
development environments.
. Led team of 12 application engineers and outside consultants in multiple
projects in Software Configuration Management.
. Selected tool and led team in the migration from Serena' PVCS to
Dimensions CM providing Development with the necessary platform for its
parallel development needs and increased productivity.
. Selected tool and led team in the migration from OpenMake to Meister
which resulted in a 40% reduction in build time allowing Development to
increase their productivity.
. Led team in automating the SCM processes using BuildForge as the
procedural tool. This resulted in a 30% increase in the team's

maintainable platform for the mainframe developers.

. Selected tool and led team in the upgrade of its Case Management Desktop
tool. This was an 18 month effort done in partnership with the vendor and

. Was responsible for nine risk management applications including
Clearview, IRIS, CIMS, MBP.
. Led team in the creation of its Medical Bill Pay application, which
generated over $1 million in additional revenue in its first year.

. Led an Application Outsourcing project to develop a proposal, plan and
cost estimate for the Risk Management Division for this, one of the
world's premier insurance organizations.
. Led a team of 11 consultant and client subject matter experts in the
successful transition and implementation of this planned outsourcing
effort.
. The CNA Risk Management portfolio contained over 250 programs on multiple
platforms (MVS, Teradata, UNIX, and PC/LAN) and a variety of languages
(COBOL, Telon/ CICS, Teradata SQL, Oracle, Sybase, and Visual Basic).
. Team was fully responsible for day to day problem solving and support, AD
HOC reporting requests, providing support to User Requests and
implementing minor enhancement requests.
. Team provided 7x24 support.
. Performance levels were monitored and measured against developed Service
Level Agreement.

. Led a Century Compliance project to implement an enterprise wide plan to
remediate entire portfolio for this major Midwest auto and truck parts
manufacturing company.
. Twelve-member team included consultants and subject matter experts from
within the client company.
. The Dana portfolio was virtually all mainframe (MVS, IDMS, ADS/O CICS
CULPRIT, and Assembler).
. Primary focus was on CAS Manufacturing System, an integrated IDMS package
no longer supported by CA. Data expansion compliance solution. Over 2,500
programs evaluated.
. Dana is a Ft. Wayne, Indiana company. This project was conducted from
SPR's Virtual Insourcing Center in Oak Brook with remote access to Dana's
mainframe.
Project Manager - Additional Projects/Multiple Companies
Led Century Compliance Projects for multiple companies including Kraft
Foods, Navistar and Signature Insurance
Activities included:
. Needs assessment and proposal preparation winning $4.5M in project
business.
. Led implementation team of 12 members in projects that ranged from 4
months to 30 months
. Complex technical requirement for Kraft included 500 applications on a
series of different platforms (VM, MVS, AS/400, HP UNIX, HP 9000, and
PC/LAN) and 25 different languages.
. Individual project required interfacing with as many as nine separated
business units within the client company.
. Projects included total life cycle from proposal, creation and management
of consultant and client payroll budget, establishment of project plan
and deadlines, cross-functional communications, writing of technical
documentation and deliverables.
