Safety Observer: Observed a Disaster Relief Contractors staging site
for safety violations. Patrolled Miramar Beach, observing the Contractors
Oil Technicians' operations for safety violations, as well as for signs of
heat stress. Reported safety violations to the Contractor as well as to
Unified Command. Recorded hourly readings of temperature, humidity, and
heat index. Suggested work/rest ratios for Oil Technicians depending on
the recorded data. Prepared daily Job Safety Analysis' (JSA's) with the
Contractors Site Safety Manager. Performed safety briefings to Oil

Assistant Watch Engineer: Worked daily with the Plant Maintenance
Engineer and plant Supervisor. Prepared five Babcock &Wilcox water tube
boilers for state inspections which included performing LOTO's, confined
space entries, water washes, refractory patching, etc. Serviced turbine
pumps, which included dismantling, installing labyrinth seals, installing
steam inlet governors, etc. Often worked 12 hour shifts aiding the Boiler
Operators, which often consisted of bringing Boilers up to pressure,
putting them on-line, and taking them off line. Performed rounds which
included inspecting pumps, recording readings, and checking alarms.
Observed the installation of a Back-Pressure Turbine.

Warehouse Manager: Supervised and managed a crew of four truck
drivers and nine loading dock attendants for a high volume frozen food
company. Responsible for the daily operations of four in-house warehouse
storage facilities as well as the rotation of inventory in three outsourced
warehouse facilities. Supervised the loading and unloading of finished
products and raw materials. Directed and participated in quarterly
inventories. Worked closely with the Logistics Manager, Director of
Materials Management and Production Manager to ensure proper inventory
levels of both finished product and raw materials. Often filled in for the
Logistics Manager, which consisted of building loads, finding carriers,
creating bill of ladings, scheduling 1st drops, scheduling ETA's for
loading, and also troubleshooting discrepancies with both carriers and
customers. Performed all hiring, firing, training, payroll, and work
scheduling for loading dock attendants and truck drivers. Performed route
scheduling for trucking fleet. Responsible for scheduling maintenance of
trucks and trailers.
