Hired for position to manage the exception based reporting system and

steadily worked up acquiring additional systems such as case management,

audit, and remote video access. Ultimately was promoted to Systems Manager

which then also allowed me to manage a staff of Analysts. Initially

reported to the Midwest Regional LP Manager, but after the promotion I

reported to the Director of Loss Prevention.

. Through my system enhancements and team structuring, I was able to

achieve a 66% increase in internal theft identification over the

previous year.

. Achieved a 44% increase in the receipt of civil demand payments as a

result of managing the case management system and analysis of the

events contained within.

. Maintained multiple systems including the POS EBR (Point of Sale

Exception Based Reporting Tool), Case Management System, Audit System,

and Remote Video Systems.

. Responsible for initiating phone interviewing through the Analyst team

to more efficiently and effectively impact case closure.

. Composed all relative training materials for each system that I was

responsible for. Traveled to markets to directly train users on the

applications.

. Managed the anonymous hotline for employee reporting of both integrity

and policy violation issues.

. Provided statistical reporting that gave a clear view of opportunities

within the Loss Prevention Agent role allowing for an increase in

accountability.

. Developed new EBR system reports related to fraudulent refund tracking

Originally began my career at the Distribution Center, later being lead in

a direction by leadership to the store environment. Built strong

partnerships within the store and district to both maintain existing

programs as well as to introduce new company driven directives for shortage

reduction. Transitioned to the Corporate Office into a role that allowed

me to manage an entire team dedicated to customer service in relation to

non-receipted and potential fraudulent refunds. Promoted to Internal

Investigations Coordinator and was tasked with vendor selection for both a

case management system and POS exception based reporting tools.

Consistently worked side by side with both vendor teams and internal IT.

Continued to lead the LP Transactions Team and the Internal Investigator

after being promoted to Senior Investigator. Supervised the civil demand

process through the case management system, utilizing an in-house letter

program on initial letters, and pushed second letters program through third

party vendor. Maintained the physical security responsibilities when the

position went unfilled for extended periods of time allowing me to become

familiar with EAS, CCTV, Public View, RFID, and other emerging

technologies.

. Built strong business relationships with vendors and constantly

provided well developed enhancements to increase the usefulness of

related applications.

. Managed a team of two executives, five full-time non-exempt employees,

and four part-time non-exempt employees.

. Conducted corporate level investigations and subsequent interviews on a

regular basis.

various training programs and documents including a new LP on-boarding

program used to train new hires.
