MASTERS THESIS
. Seek to make sense of doll collection produced in Old Salem, which is
a Colonial Moravian Village now serving as a Museum and Gardens. The
dolls made by local Moravians during the turn of the 20th Century
symbolize a connection to the Colonial Revival of the early 1900s,
Consumerism, particularly regarding women and children, the
popularization of Folk Art, and Race relations.
