performing all aspects of seagrass restoration, resource permitting, wildlife monitoring, and coral reef damage

Duties and responsibilities at the Broward County Environmental Protection Department included: management

of the field team, the collection of surface water, groundwater, stormwater, and soil samples. Training and

supervision of field team, technicians, and student interns, scheduling and coordination of all sampling events

and project management of the SFWMD contracts.

-ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST- FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (FDEP) – (08/01 -06/03)

Duties and responsibilities at FDEP included: providing biological supervision and leadership of habitat

assessment projects, management of day-to-day activities associated with multiple projects, planning and

ensuring implementation of quality procedures, adherence to applicable procedures and regulations, monitoring

performance in relation to the established, scope, budget, and schedule, collection of surface water, groundwater,

and sediment samples.

-ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST INTERN - ST. JOHN’S RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT – (1994)

Collection of surface water, groundwater, and sediment samples using necessary scientific equipment. Recording

data with various multi-parameter instruments while navigating to sample sites with real-time GPS equipment.
