Job Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility included depot or on-site repair and maintenance of all hardware. This included
warranty and non-warranty service for a variety of notebooks, laptops, desktops, monitors, dot matrix and
laser printers. I developed and maintained premium knowledge of all software and microprocessor functions
necessary to identify and repair external and internal hardware problems. It was necessary to develop and
maintain these skills to diagnose and service a variety of internal and accessory hardware such as
motherboards, scanners, optical drums, print heads, hard disk drives, gear assemblies and power supplies. I
was responsible for acquiring the required certifications to provide warranty service for a number of hardware
vendors. Our team objective was to provide premium hardware service by restoring all units to vendor
specifications using state-of-the-art diagnostic testing with fully trained qualified technicians.

Tool Experience - Experience in use of “Kett” saws, nibblers, mortise jigs, ect… used while installing,
fabricating, and modifying commercial hardware, hollow metal doors, door frames, light and window kits,
magnetic lock systems, panic devices, and fire alarms. Light welding and grinding experience in relation to
the same task. Also experienced with hot air guns, varied soldering guns/vacuums, multi-meter, and
oscilloscope.
Blueprinting Experience - All installations and product constructions from contractor’s blueprints.
Locksmith Experience – Installation of various commercial grade locks, hinges, closers, and high security
locks for drug storage in hospitals/pharmacies. Completion of locking orders from construction cores (ie.
key, master key, grandmaster ect
Cabling Experience - Extensive experience with line configuration serial RS-232, parallel, network, and
phone systems.
Soldering Experience - Surface mount, flush mount, de-soldering traces for component replacement,
rebuilding traces.
Inventory Control - Monitored inventory accurately on a monthly basis.
Shipping/Receiving - Responsible for handling large quantities of incoming and outgoing products on a daily
