Objective:
I am seeking a job that will give me more experience in my field of study. I
am very tactful and determined. I would also like to further my education once I
seek employment. I would be the perfect candidate for the job because I have a
tender spot in my heart for the sick. My son once had cancer and I had to step up
to the plate and care for him at a young age, he was only 18 months. That’s what
motivated me to become successful in the medical field. I am focusing on getting
my associate’s degree in Health Information Technology. I also want to take some
management classes to promote my leadership skills since that’s the position I
hope to have within the next five years. My goal is to become an RN and work
directly with the patients.
Qualifications:
I am a certified medical receptionist. I also took a billing and coding class. I can
transcribe and very familiar with medical terminology. I took Anatomy and
psychology. We also did various skills in our skills I and II class. I am CPR
certified. I also took medical office procedures so I am very familiar with the
administrative part of my duties. I have completed my externship at Dr. Betty
Walker Richardson. I got great hands on experience at the office. I did both
administrative work and clinical procedures.
Education:
I attended South Georgia Technical College; I graduated on June 12. I had to complete five
consecutive quarters and maintain a B average. I have obtained a 3.6 GPA. I am currently
working on an Associates degree in Health Information Technology at Devry University.
