6 2010 for Dr. Grisales’s office ranges from scheduling patients, answering and

returning patient calls, organizing patient files, to being the clinic’s

official Marketing Representative. As a Marketing Representative, my

job involves visiting local neurosurgeons, rheumatologists, and

orthopedic surgeons and explaining pain management procedures such

as Radiofrequency Lesioning, Nerve Blocks, Spinal Epidurals, Morphine

Pump Implants, and Spinal Cord Stimulation.

Eagle Insurance Agency, Tampa, 2006 2008: I began working as

a receptionist but after a year of direct interaction with customers I was

promoted to the role of Insurance Agent. As an agent, I was responsible

for selling insurance to established and new customers. This task

involved calculating and quoting premium rates, recommending policies

adequate to customer needs, collecting premiums from policy holders,

walking customers though the renewal application process, and

monitoring payment, transaction, and premium records.

Colonial Bank, Tampa, 2008 2009: I learned to multitask

effectively as a Loan Support Specialist for Colonial. Daily activities

ranged from greeting visitors, answering customer calls, and distributing

correspondence to various departments, to assisting the Senior Loan

Officer in preparation for internal and external audits.

Adcock Adcock Casualty Insurance Agency, Tampa, March to

November 2009: I became an Insurance Agent with Adcock to challenge

myself to work while attending college, much like I did through high

school. Because of previous experience, I was able to develop a new

customer base and conduct property evaluations to determine risk.
