************@*****.***
Dear Sir / Madam,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is James Amendolea. My
application is for the safety position you currently have available.
I received an Associate of Science in General Studies from Murray State
College and a Bachelor of General Studies with an emphasis in Human
Services Counseling from East Central University. While at Murray State
College, I was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was listed
on the President's Honor Role. At East Central University, I was a member
of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society. I am currently a student member of
the American Society of Safety Engineers. I am currently CPR and First Aid
certified. By the time I graduate I will have earned my OSHA 30 hour
construction card.
At the Southern Oklahoma Blood Institute, where I served as the Volunteer
Coordinator, I recruited new volunteers and volunteer groups, trained all
volunteers and retain existing volunteers to meet the blood collection
needs. While working as the Veterans Workforce Investment Program
Coordinator, I gained valuable experience in working with all aspects
program development. I learned how to communicate with participants from
many different backgrounds, and how to truly listen to their needs. As a
tinsmith, my job duties required me to work with customers to build metal
products to their specifications and work with a team of co-workers to
complete tasks assigned by my supervisor. Due to the precise measurements
and attention to details required in that position, I learned that
communication is the key to having a successful career.
Thank you for your time. My resume is attached for your review. I
appreciate you considering me for the safety position.
Sincerely,
James L. Amendolea
