Major Duties:I have experience with computer the software Excel. I have had hands on experience
with selecting items for shipping, verifying and preparing documentation either manually or using
automated equipment, to include Radio Frequency devices. I have performed at previous employers a
full range of duties involved in the identification, examination, classification, acceptance, rejection and
disposition of material and equipment categorized as complex. I have also had experience with
checking lists showing stock identification changes in order to ensure that the proper items are
selected and assembled for issue. I examined items for corrosion or deterioration, performed
necessary cleaning or preparation and determined proper level of preservation to meet specifications
and/or process needs. I have signed and certified all documents and report being used during such
examinations. Before signing documentation of my examination I completed various visual and/or
performed examinations with precise measuring instruments. Instruments such as calipers, scales,
heat sealers, plate gauges for metal commodities, depth, thread, etc. I have also had much
experience checking the condition of shipping containers prior to loading. While examining shipping
before loading I pulled samples of commodities for testing and suspended stock as necessary. If
items were found out of compliance I performed requests for corrections in marking, labeling and
requested the proper labeling of items. I also provided evidence of the need for such requests, i.e.
supportive evidence to the finding such as research, drawings, photographs and detailed cost
estimates for possible repairs. I was able to ensure that items were inspected and checked for
damages. I supervised items being packed in wooden boxes, metal containers and cartons. I'm able
to keep my work area clean and safe, have had experience with general housekeeping. I am able to
meet timeline standards and provide assistance in any area as workload demands. I have inventory
experience and experience with trouble shooting. I have assisted with the production and monitored
employees quality of work. I have the ability to make decisions and verify parts on the line before
shipping through visual inspection. I also have experience with recording information on computers
daily. I am always willing and able to perform other duties that are assigned.
Skills and Knowledge: I am aware of the general warehouse layout, item identification codes and
basic warehouse procedures and storage areas including stacking, palletize,arranging, and rotating
items in according to operating procedures or under guidance of higher graded worker. I have the
ability to complete appropriate forms indicating stock description, quantity, unit of issue and labeling
requirements.
Physical Effort: I will be able to work/stand for long periods of time on concrete or asphalt surfaces
