EXPERIENCE:
Over fourteen years of experience in intellectual property law beginning as
a Patent Examiner examining biotechnology patent applications with a focus
on molecular biology, microbiology, genetically engineered plants and plant
genes in art unit 1638. Post Patent Office experience has included
preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide variety of
technologies; patent portfolio management; patent portfolio analysis;
merger and acquisition due diligence; managing due diligence projects;
infringement and validity studies; freedom to operate studies; licensing;
drafting material transfer and confidentiality agreements; preparing
litigation strategies; managing litigation teams; drafting motions in both
litigation and interference proceedings; drafting briefs in support of

porcelain veneers. Summary Judgment in favor of defendants at trial level.

infringement action involving method for making porcelain veneers.
Freedom Wireless v. Nextel (D. Mass. and Fed. Cir.) Represented defendant
