To Whom It May Concern:
Please consider this my letter of interest for the available Administrative
Assistant position.
I have years of experience in answering phones, taking messages, filing
paperwork, Microsoft Office Programs (Excel Spreadsheets, Publisher, Word,
Power Point etc.), data entry and scheduling. I am eager to put these
talents to work for you. I am also proficient in making brochures and
flyers highlighting the services provided by the organization. I have
developed many spreadsheets and reports in Excel to present to board
members and administration individuals. While in the position of
Administrative Assistant to the Director, I was also in charge of planning,
preparing and coordinating a 5 day girl's camp. This was a year long,
annual project and was well worth the work when I was involved and was able
to attend the camp while it was in session. Part of preparing for the camp
was advertising, developing brochures and recruiting participants for camp.
I truly enjoy planning and coordinating events. It is very rewarding to see
the event go on without a hitch.
I have a very friendly and personable personality and great customer
service skills. I am a quick learner and am willing to adapt to any changes
and learn new programs. I am a dependable person who can be relied upon to
complete all tasks she is given correctly in a timely manner.
I have worked at The Turning Point of Paulding County Inc. since June 2008
and during my time there, I have learned to organize and maintain files and
enter all client information in to the client database. I first worked as
prevention staff during the school year and then worked as Executive
Assistant in the summer months. I was moved into a permanent position as
Executive Assistant to Director Glenda Ferris since January 2010.
Due to working at The Turning Point,a chemical dependency counseling
center, for many years, I am an understanding and compassionate person. I
am a people person whose nature is only to help others. I am educated in
dealing with those who are struggling in life and need a kind person to aid
them in getting what they need.
Thank you for taking the time to review my resume and considering me for
this wonderful employment opportunity. I am looking forward to hearing from
you and scheduling an interview in the near future.
Respectfully,
Chelsea L. Mansfield
