SPAWAR SYSTEM CENTER ATLANTIC, San Diego, CA Detachment 2005 – 2009
Senior Systems Analyst
Managed 2 senior military and 3 defense contractors, coordinating all facets of the NSIPS program
implementation and sustainment for over 75 Pacific Fleet ships.
Responsible for NSIPS hardware and software installations, upgrades and Tier 2 Help Desk support
worldwide for over 75 Pacific Fleet ships.
Trained 4 senior military and 2 defense contractors, forming a strong and effective NSIPS training
team to provide further support, assistance and training to shipboard personnel.
Planned, coordinated and outfitted 75 pacific fleet ships, upgrading hardware and implementing the
next generation NSIPS application software package while meeting an aggressive deadline.
Personally coordinated all efforts in restoring NSIPS system capabilities. Efforts were critical in
rapidly responding to the USS GEORGE WASHINGTON after having suffered a major shipboard
casualty. Diligence resulted in NSIPS being fully operational ahead of schedule.
NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE, Coronado, CA 1998 - 2005
Detachment AOIC, Task Group Deputy Communications Officer, Detachment LCPO
Managed 78 active duty and civilian personnel. Planned and coordinated communications role during
training exercises and real world operations for NSW forces.
Managed training, equipping and deployment of communication support to NSW forces across 3 areas
of responsibilities (AORs).
* Key member in a man power review, documenting professional requirements and tactical needs which
resulted in 58 additional personnel being permanently assigned.
Deployed a 10 member team, responsible for setup and maintaining an SHF terminal, LAN, and 8
communication circuits for NSW commanders, providing critical C2 mission planning and intelligence
gathering capabilities during combat operations.
Tasked with a short-fused assignment to restore C2 infrastructure, connectivity was sourced from a
nearby Army unit with limited resources which aided in the successful execution of numerous highly
sensitive combat missions.
Expertly managed the training, delivery, acceptance, and deployment of 2 Special Operations Forces
communication packages valued at over $1.8M, providing full spectrum communications and network
services for NSW tactical commanders.
USS BOXER LHD 4, San Diego, CA 1995 - 1997
Work Center Supervisor, Assistant Systems Administrator
Supervised 12 IT personnel responsible for all computer operations, network and technical support.
Coordinated removal of computer equipment, renovation of the computer room and the successful
installation of Tactical Advanced Computer System (TAC-3) which resulted in preventing a probable
ten day computer system downtime.
Established various new SOPs reducing the possibility of operator error.
Driving force behind the divisions successful Logistics Management Assessment, receiving numerous
accolades for having the best hardware/software management system.
