I am a well-organized, detail-oriented, creative problem solver with a

diverse background covering adult education, training and certification;

business administration; international development and finance; new product

development, marketing and workforce development.

In my career I have managed a national non-profit organization's employee

certification program, a unique computer-based program for delivering an

individualized and self-paced orientation and training; and intensive

training with 175 staff at a start-up organization.

Orient Me! Program

- Managed the $400,000 Orient Me multi-media orientation program

including program development, program administration, budget management,

be used by the four regional offices using a variety of outlets and

media, including the Internet, streaming media, CDs and print.

- Maintained databases on sales, current and prospective customers, and

customer accounts to track the status of each and prepare reports for key

staff on sales, new market development, program features, upgrades, etc.

Workforce Development Program

- Co-task managed the $500,000 Plastics Learning Network (PLN) program

including program development, program administration, budget management,

information dissemination and reporting activities.

- Prepared and tracked budgets for five Workforce Development programs,

including NCP, Orient Me and PLN. Analyze vendor contracts to Produce

Aging, Cash Flow, Outstanding Invoices, and Collections Reports.

- Wrote RFPs for competitive bidding on departmental contracts including

new certification exam development contracts, the NCP Internet-based exam

delivery vendor contract, and a technical capacity upgrade for an

Internet-based database.

- Assisted in preparing grant proposals for federal or state-level

funding for training and certification programs through the Workforce

Investment Act. Submitted several proposals to the US Department of Labor

for Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) funds.

- Created presentation materials on the various workforce development

programs, their missions, program goals and program metrics for staff to

deliver to SPI constituents. Attend and represent SPI at national

- Provided software training and technical support to 30 department

staff as new technology and systems were implemented company-wide. This

included configuring, documenting, testing, and maintaining individual

PCs for SAP R/3, Lotus Notes, shared network programs, and office

technology.

- Documented procedures for support and maintenance of newly implemented

project systems. This included defining requirements for the program's

accounting practices, general standard practices, internal and external

change control, and IT support for databases and information systems.

Participated in training sessions on CGAP's four microfinance tools,
