Duval County Clerks Office December 2005-March 2008

Student Employee

This position was in the Felony department of the Duval County Clerk’s Office.

This position entailed scanning, filing, and checking through felony criminal files.

This position required the ability to multi-task. Close attention to detail, as well as,

the ability to meet set deadlines were needed to be successful in this position.

Computer orientation was needed due to daily use of the computer system. Strong

verbal and written communication skills were needed in order to communicate

effectively throughout the department. This was a student position that ended due to

budget cuts.

Premier Beverage May 2007-August 2007

Job Title: Bolt Loader

In this position I was responsible for the loading of bottled beverages onto conveyor

belts within the warehouse, and the placement of these beverages onto individual

pallets. This position required close attention to detail, the ability to follow both

written and oral orders, and the ability to multi-task while maintaining safety

precautions. This was a temporary assignment that ended.

Publix Supermarkets August 2005-March 2006

Cashier

Providing strong Customer Service to store customers was the number one duty of

this position. This position consisted of constant face to face customer interaction.

Strong Customer Service skills were a must, including the ability to effectively

communicate with a vast array of individuals. In this position math skills were

required. Aside from cashiering duties, I was responsible for bagging of customer

groceries, stocking of store shelves, and the upkeep of store surroundings and lot.

This was a direct Customer Service position. Bagging, stocking of groceries, and

other store maintenance duties were also a part of this position.
