Reporting directly to the Vice President of Fabric, challenged to hold full

responsibility for quality, cost, and delivery from raw materials to Tier 1

customers from within the 220K sq. ft. Fabric Division facility with a

workforce of 260 across three shifts. Directly supervise three engineers,

three salaried supervisors, and one non-exempt administrative assistant.

Work with Japanese colleagues, corporate/sales executives, and engineering

to build and sustain growth. Conduct weekly reviews with VPs, CFO, and COO

that cover key areas, including P&L, goal attainment, cost reduction,

variance analysis, and staffing.

> Worked with global team - including executive VPs and unit leaders

from parent company (Suminoe Textile Japan) - to facilitate

successful launch of $65M new product introduction for Honda's

Civic four-door program.

> Improved Fabric Division gross margin from 7% to 11% by improving

Honda's Civic two-door program profits from >75% margin to <15%

margin and Toyota's Tacoma program from>10% to <28%; maintained or

improved margins for other products.

> Achieved all 5% standard cost reduction projects by generating ideas
