My cover letter and resume only show some of the many talents and knowledge that

I have gained throughout my career. As my resume illustrates, I have over twenty-five

years of experience in Management and Supervision with thirteen years in plant

management, sanitation and facilities management.

My most recent position was working as a Shift Manager for AK Steel. I managed

approximately twelve hourly machinists and repairmen. We machined the Mill Work

Rolls

that are used to press and form the 30,000 lb. rolls of steel.

Previously I worked for Batavia Transmissions, LLC.(Ford) for over eight years.

The last five years was as a Group Leader/Supervisor of the Maintenance department.

I energized a team of approximately eighty-five skilled-trades and facilities employees

covering all 1.7 million square feet of the company through inclusiveness and team

building. Along with the facility, I managed the sanitation department and several

contract

employees working on construction and decommissioning tasks.

From Jan. 1992 through Dec. 1999 I held the position of Plant Superintendent at Carr

Tool

Company where I gained perspective through experience and further developed my Plant

Management expertise. Under my leadership we achieved on-time delivery performance,

made innovative tooling improvements and improved safety conditions that surpassed the

company's standards resulting in significant cost savings and fewer accidents. I also

contributed to the inception of ISO 9001 to the company.

I was Manufacturing Cell Leader Supervisor and Methods Specialist at General Electric

Aircraft Engines for over eight years. My specialty was cost reductions and robotic and

manual deburring of aircraft parts. I was a key member of the team that developed and

perfected the robotic deburring cell resulting in increased productivity, cost savings and

improved quality. I supervised approximately 25 machinists and inspectors.

I am a Certified Building Performance Institute home Energy auditor. I have excellent

computer skills including SAP, WORD, Excel and Outlook and internet. I have excellent

management skills, mechanical aptitude and all abilities needed for this career.
