Certification - 1996: Naval gas turbine mechanical "A" school: An 8

week school that provided the knowledge to provide maintenance,

upkeep and trouble shooting of LM 2500, 401k-17 gas turbines.

Thomas Nelson Community College - 1992-1993: Completed 2 semesters

towards a Mechanical Engineering Degree.

Job Experience/Special Skills

Process Operator - Western Refining - 2003 to 2010: Responsible for

the safe, environmentally sound and efficient operation of oil

movements. Duties include maintaining proper flows, levels,

temperatures and pressures of the refining process. Keeping logs,

reports, records to ensure compliance with the State of Virginia. Use

of computer programs to train, communicate within plant operations.

Experience with gathering and inputting data into handheld Intela

Trac device.

Petroleum Inspector - S.G.S. Redwood Services - 2000 to 2003:

Provide a detailed calculation, measurement and sampling of fuel oil

products from a ship or barge to a refinery or terminal, with the use

of computer programs and manual measuring devices.

Gas Turbine Mechanic - U.S. Navy - 1996 to 2000: Served as a Gas

Turbine Mechanic and qualified Engine/Auxiliary Room Operator.

Maintained operating logs, performed maintenance and repairs of two

LM2500 and one 401k-17 gas turbine engine, also repaired and rebuilt

pumps, purifiers, valves and air compressors.

Produce Worker - Food Lion - 1990 to 1996: Maintained fresh quality

produce, while maintaining the highest customer service. Ordered

produce, set up end caps, and displays. Rotated produce and used

packaging equipment. Off loaded produce from grocery trucks, using

manual pallet jack.
