* 2008-Present- Section Leader of Gospel Choir

> As a section leader of the Gospel Choir, I create an

environment of relaxation and reorganized my section

by providing music folders and CDs that help save

time, increased productivity, and reduce the length

of the time spent on learning songs.

* 2007-National Math Award

> I was nominated by my 12th grade calculus teacher for

the National Mathematics award for my great attitude

and superior skills in mathematics.

* 2006-2007-G.I.A. (Girls In Action)

> I was chosen along with other young outstanding

females to join a society for high school students.

The selection was based on great personalities,

superior grades, and excellent attitude; we were the

role models for other upcoming members.

* 2004-2007- High School Band section leader

> Being the section leader of my high school band was a

wonderful experience for me. My responsibilities

consisted of practicing music and routines with them.

I also help them with any questions they might have

on and off the field.

* 2004-2006- Youth Volunteer for Children Day Camp

> Being a young volunteer for a children's camp center

I had to be a big sister figure to younger children.

Teaching them wrong from right and being a wonderful

role model to them in those few hours I had with

them.
