(2007-2009) Quality Assurance Supervisor, Global Aeronautica, LLC/ Boeing
Aircraft
Manage activities through Quality Assurance subordinates to support
production assembly line. Lead, coach, mentor and oversee inspection
personnel. Develop and execute plans to meet quality, cost, schedule, and
technical performance requirements in accordance with AS9100 approved QMS.
Insure compliance with company policies, practices, procedures and work
instructions as well as establishing department goals and objectives.
Knowledge of SAP (Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing)
used for time approval for Quality Assurance subordinates.
(2006-2007) Mechanical Assembler/Quality Assurance, Global Aeronautica, LLC
Join together airplane sections using fasteners after drilling of holes
with an automatic drill, Perform full in process inspection of holes and
gaps using calibrated instruments. (Calipers, micrometers, pin gauges,
depth and height gauges (.etc). Initiates withholding tag (WT) using
personal computer to log against the airplane when there is a non-
conformance. Other duties included the operating of overhead cranes and
Automatic Transportation Device's (ATD's) to transport airplane section
from Large Cargo Freighter (LCF) to cell destination and from cell
destination to (LCF).
(2005-2006) Residential & Commercial
wire installer, Martin Electric.
Install, terminate and repair wiring harnesses, electrical fixtures, mount
electrical boxes and panels etc. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and
install electrical conduit. Read electrical blueprints, and schematic
drawings. Troubleshoot and repair finished work.
(2003-2005) Quality Assurance Supervisor/ Manufacturing Lead, Sonix IV
Assemble electronic printed circuit boards which required soldering and the
ability to understand schematics wiring. Other job duties were to
troubleshoot, test and repair electrical systems for Ultrasonic cleaners.
Position required the inspection of several departments, assuring that the
Ultrasonic cleaning system products were in specification. I also
supervised a crew of ten or more people.
(2000-2003) Senior Assembly Technician, American LaFrance Corp.
Assemble various electrical parts for fire apparatus vehicles. Interpret
blueprint and wiring schematics to prepare wire harness. Also I installed
stationary and pull-out shelves inside of ambulances and fire trucks.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install automotive electrical systems.
(1998-2000) Electrical/ Mechanical Assembler/Team Leader, Global
Manufacturing
Prepared, tested and installed electrical wire harnesses. In addition I
mounted electrical boxes and panels, terminated low and high voltage cables
to those boxes. Job required the understanding of wiring schematics, blue
print reading, troubleshooting, repairing and testing of electrical
equipment. I also was team leader that required supervision of five or more
people. Position required the use of overhead crane and forklift operation.
(1996-1998) Warehouse Supervisor, Charleston Paper Company.
Loading and unloading of company trucks before and after delivery. I also
operated forklifts and cherry pickers to pull orders from the shelves for
the customers for delivery. Perform inventory control and stocking of new
products as they were delivered to the warehouse.
(1994-1996) Maintenance Mechanic, Cummins Engine Inc.
Assemble parts onto diesel engines to perform test to make sure the engines
performance are within specification. Also troubleshoot, repair and test
other various parts of engines for diesel recon staff.
