Working in a newly-formed M&A subsidiary of Third Federal Savings and Loan Association, I was

responsible for selecting acquisition targets, analyzing those targets for potential synergies, developing

competitive bids and presenting recommendations to senior management. Also led due diligence teams,

structured deals, managed all aspects of the acquisition process to ensure timely completion of crucial tasks,

negotiated purchase terms and implemented post-acquisition integration plans. Routinely presented

acquisition opportunities to senior management and actively networked with investment-banking

firms and financial institution officers to find, negotiate, structure and integrate acquisitions.

• AWas actively involved in the acquisition and integration of a savings and loan institution and a

sub-prime mortgage company.

SIGNAL BANK, NA, Wooster, OH 1996–1999

Worked with bank executives on negotiation and acquisition of operating subsidiaries to achieve growth for

the bank and bank holding company. Performed target identification, financial analysis and modeling,

business valuation, deal structuring, market research, and due diligence. Negotiated acquisitions with

valuations between $1-$100 millionM and arranged debt and equity financing. Responsible for facilitating

due diligence information to acquiring company when bank sold.

deposits and also a federally chartered thrift institution with $375 million in assets.
