Served as Security Specialist responsible for overall program management,
planning, directing, coordinating, implementing and monitoring of the
Personnel Security program. Maintains security management directives,
regulations, manuals, and guidelines. Ensured classified material was
properly accounted for, controlled, transmitted, transported, packaged, and
safeguarded. Holds a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Contributed to improving customer performance by providing supported
activities guidance, interpretation and operational assistance in use of
the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and preparation/submission
of the electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing (e-QIP).
Additionally, established security policies including classification,
control, storage, dissemination, transmission and destruction of special
program information. Debriefed all military and civilian personnel upon
separation or retirement and have them complete a Security Termination
Statement. Reports directly to the Commanding Officer for the compliance

personnel. Principle advisor to the Commander, Chief Staff Officer, and

manpower, career counseling, security, military awards, and incoming and
outgoing correspondence. Provided oversight of the Defense Travel System
(DTS)and was the reviewing/approving official for all travel requests and
approving official for travel authorizations and vouchers. Processed over
30 passport, VISA applications and country clearances for travelers on
OCONUS travel orders. As Command Security Manager, managed all aspects of

10 divisions comprised of 60 personnel in multiple ratings. Adept at making

Ensured prompt and accurate processing of hundreds of officer fitness
reports, enlisted evaluations, awards, enlisted personnel action requests,
overseas tour extensions request, leave, and disciplinary paperwork.
Significantly improved the error rate on fitness reports and enlisted
