August 2007-August 2009: Home Depot Head Cashier

As Head Cashier my duties to include: scheduling and supervising employees, cash
d rawer countdown, preparation of daily reports, product inventory, audits, filing,
loss prevention, store maintenance, and correspondence with vendors as well as
corporate management. Prior to being promoted to Head Cashier, I was a Customer
Service Representative for Home Depot working with customers and employees on a
daily basis. I processed sales transactions, returns, and refunds. I also processed
special orders, deliveries, and maintained customer accounts.
J uly 2002 – April 2005: Hollywood Video Assistant Store Manager

As Assistant Store Manager my duties to include scheduling and supervising
employees, opening and closing the store, working daily with cash countdown of each
employee cash drawers, as well as store deposits correspondence with vendor
companies as well as our corporate office. My duties also included inventories, loss
p revention, filing and store maintenance. Prior to my promotion to Assistant Store
Manager, I was Shift Leader and Guest Service Representative, working with the
public on a daily basis. I maintained customer accounts, maintained and processed
movie rentals by processing rental requests with computer based programs. My
duties also included inventories, video, game, and DVD upkeep.
J uly 1995 – July 1999: United States Air Force Information Manager

October 1995 to March 1998
I performed functions at base level as Publications and Forms Management
Manager. My duties included keeping records of forms and publications for the
base. I also managed the storage, stock, and distribution of all forms, such as
classified and controlled items.
March 1998 to July 1999
I maintained and reviewed Enlisted Performance Reports for the Squadron
Commander, managed the squadron leave program, the aerobic fitness program, and
coordinated squadron Temporary Duty Orders. I also served as the alternate
Security Manager and performed administrative functions to include filing, typing,
and record maintenance. I held a secret security clearance and adhered to all
confidentiality requirements.
