Sr. Buyer/Planner

Responsible for 8 million dollars of planning materials to a warehouse for

customer distribution.

Purchased product internally and externally with heavy emphasis on

international suppliers.

Established and maintained external supplier contacts.

Established and communicated lead times with suppliers.

Worked directly with customer care on assuring enough product was in

warehouse for customer shipments.

outside warehousing and pulling material as needed creating internal

warehouse and material savings.

Successfully led a team in improving the J.I.T. program to pull in

inventory daily as well as lead other planners to work towards a J.I.T.

program resulting in the reduction of on hand inventory from 3 days to 24

hours.

Set up a savings program on freight cost of material utilizing company's
