At Covenant Church, I recruited and built a praise team of nine people from
scratch. I organized weekly practices, created a musical catalogue and
scheduled and conducted weekly rehearsals. At Trinity Church, I recruited
another praise team and organized special musicals that involved two dozen
volunteers. I also scheduled, hosted and presented several outside speakers
and performers for the church. At the Jack Bower Fund, I was responsible
for creating a system of communication and tracking the activities of
thirty Middle School students. I also helped organize a "Manna Drop" for
Atkinson County that involved 40 students and 120 families. I performed
administrative duties for the executive director that included setting up
monthly seminars, contacting local media and maintaining donor database. At
Vonumental, I set up cell phone plans and manage all computer orders.
Marketing and Recruiting
At Brewton-Parker, I traveled to various venues and presented the college
story to potential recruits. I met my goals and expectations. At my
present employment, I am responsible for maintaining the online site
through which the company recruits the majority of its clientele.
Teaching
At Baldwin County Schools, I taught developmentally delayed students, I
managed a classroom and made sure that each student's educational plan was
followed. I led a classroom and taught one-on-one sessions with individual
students. As a Support coordinator, I maintained a caseload of mentally
delayed individuals. I was responsible for monthly and weekly site visits
to their work places and homes. I provided information and instruction in
the areas of job skills, life skills and emotional management.
Filing and Data Manager
At Vonumental, I am the only employee of a new start-up. I maintain all
customer records. I help build, maintain and update the company website. I
interact with customers over the telephone and work on the following
programs: Word, Excel and Outlook. At the Jack Bower Fund, I worked in a
Macintosh environment.
