Proposal Coordinator
While working at B.L. Harbert International my main duty was to ensure that
all proposals being submitted from the government division were 100 percent
accurate with regards to factual information and required documentation.
This information included, but was not limited to, confidential cost
estimates, company financial and project information, graphical displays,
resumes, and other internal documents. My duty was to make certain that
each proposal was free of clerical errors such as grammar, punctuation,
spelling, and clarity of expression. My work was completed independently
under frequent pressure to meet required deadlines. Regular coordination
with other departments and internal team members was required for efficient
proposal development and submission. Weekly attendance of bid meetings was
necessary to coordinate schedules and rectify any issues. Strong
organizational skills along with strong initiative were essential to
assembling a finished comprehensive document.

While working at EBSCO one of my main duties was conducting audits of all
graphic art ads used for advertising on the covers of popular periodicals,
a display rack with shelf ads and a header sign, along with protective
vinyl binders for each title displayed in various reading areas. An
additional duty was to communicate with clients, sales representatives, and
artists to verify changes as well as clarification of ad copies. Also I
followed up with clients insuring customer satisfaction and prepared final
advertising ads for customers and for shipment. I maintained reports with
detailed documentation of ad proofs and completion date insuring accuracy
and timely delivery.
Data Specialist February 2005 to March 2006
While serving in this position I gathered, examined and analyzed
statistical data to forecast future and current marketing trends for
various regions and business categories. In addition I organized the data
collected by several factors including renewal trends, region, and business
type in order to predict future renewals as well as new clients. My
responsibilities also included preparing and reporting the findings of the
data in an effort to manage day-to-day marketing and renewal activities in
an effort to meet the client's needs while staying within company budget.

Opened and closed the store. Assisted customers with finding products as
well as with any complaints they may have had. Handled cashier duties
including balancing the cash drawer at close of business each day.
