As Office Manager, it was my responsibility to be present for all Technical

Advisory Committee, Policy Board and MPO Council meetings on a monthly

basis. I was responsible for agenda preparation, packet materials, minutes

and other duties as needed.

While I enjoyed getting to know the staff at MACOG, I found this position

was not a good fit and decided to pursue a different career path.

I served as both the Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools and as the

Deputy Treasurer. In addition to normal secretarial duties, I was

responsible for purchasing, accounts payable, public relations, substitute

teacher scheduling and preparation of a monthly employee newsletter. I

also prepared payroll and handled group insurance questions in the absence

of our Corporation Treasurer. I taught computer software classes during

Certified Staff Development days and served on the Corporation Technology

Committee.

While at RACO, I worked in every department of the company (excluding

Sales) either as my full time job or as vacation/illness fill-in. I served

decisions. I also served as Secretary to the Human Relations Director,

Secretary to the Director of Computer Services and Secretary to the

Director or Purchasing.

I also worked for Associates Corporation of North America when it was

located in South Bend. I completed 15 years of service with them, working

in their insurance and car leasing divisions.
