HIGHLIGHTS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Color Production, Nestelle's Cake Craft. Primary function is to
produce our renowned food color for a loyal nationwide customer base,
involving a highly detailed handmade product, under FDA regulation, and
Kosher approval. Food color is made according to specific formulas, and
procedures using exacting standards. Other functions include receiving,
stocking, packaging, order filling, inventory, and some product delivery.
Store Manager for Affordable Granite (Tigard). Duties involved all
customer relations: from initial customer contact to project completion.
Wrote all computer estimates for granite sales. Cost factors included
square footage, edge profile, kitchen configurations etc. Provided customer
options/choices with in- store presentations. Coordinated /scheduled
templates and installations with crew managers, prioritized above to
customer specifications. Wrote final company invoices, pending complete
home owner satisfaction. Processed all customer payments. Developed
successful client trust, and referrals. Wrote weekly sales/activity
reports.
Purchasing Agent for Photo Craft. Sole buyer for all materials
necessary for company and customer support. Purchased office
supplies, packaging, inks, films, laminates, chemicals, etc. in many sizes-
configurations from numerous local /nationwide locations. Issued and
tracked all purchase orders / back orders. Received and stocked all daily
receipts. Posted month end inventory expenses/reconciliations. Vital
coordination between production, accounting, (updated all price
changes),"The Nike Team", customer service, and our many vendors.
Demanding, shifting, deadlines. Major focus on competitive cost and bid
analysis, ($70-$85K), monthly budget allocation. Nike /Hollywood Video were
the major accounts.
Group Lead Warehouse for NEC/Solectron. Responsible for the final
packing, system input, delivery, and accuracy for all completed AT&T-Sprint
telephone systems,(known as rings), and kits (spares), shipped from the
Oregon Plant.(3 year simultaneous contract). Team efforts with planning,
purchasing, NEC Logistics (Japan), and shipping, were dedicated to on time
scheduling (daily capacity meetings). Our role, (whse), was to complete the
order filling, packing, assembly/scanning, shipping (bills of lading),
carrier notification(s).and trailer loading processes. All major systems,
(12 crates per order- 4 orders daily-48 total), required custom crating
prior to pick-up as they could ship ground, air, or ocean container. My end
of day involved insuring the accurate pick-up by the carriers as many would
arrive, often at the same time.(also Ups & Fed-Ex), Mix ups would be a
disaster, careful dock staging, labeling / awareness were essential,
partial shipments were not allowed (crew size 8-12 over time expected).
Purchased production floor packaging, and controlled new product inventory
(Oem's).
Inventory Control Specialist for Rick's Custom Fencing. Assignments
included approving purchased will call orders, yard inventory, daily cycle
counts, sales order input and reconciliations. Tracked and entered crew
load installation of materials, and lumber yard receiving (local and
regional).Daily "hands on" customer service. Generated day end reports.
Handled rental agreements/returns/payments.
Lead Shipping/Supply Clerk for Standard Insurance. Responsible for all
daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order filling,
and training Created inventory reorder levels for essential documents.
Issued office supplies, equipment, and furniture to the downtown
departments/employees via courier.Worked with Home Office staff, and
Ups/Freight Reps to coordinate delivery to an expanding national network of
group offices. This involved monthly restock shipments, materials forwarded
to conventions for group sales, and new office openings. Wrote monthly
/quarterly reports for corporate accounting, providing shipping expenses to
cost centers. Set up several major warehouse expansions. Participated in
production meetings to evaluate growth strategies, regarding
printing/warehouse/and forms control.
