waterjet cutting, metal fabrication and

offshore/onshore welding services for jobs as large

as $150,000 each. From making an initial cold call

contact to delivering the product, I handled all

communication with the customers.

Agile Waste Services (Division of MLU Services) - Operations & Sales

December 2005 - September 2008

I managed a crew of 2 salesmen and 5 truck drivers servicing

customers with roll-off trash containers and portable

toilets for construction sites in the New Orleans

metro area. Starting from the beginning I have

helped grow the business to profitability with solid

customer service, solid salesmanship and integrity.

I manage every aspect of the business, from setting

up new accounts to scheduling a driver to make the

delivery to billing the customer. We saw an increase

in business revenue of $5,000 our first month to more

than $165,000 per month under my direction. I

coordinated work flow for the installation of travel

trailers and mobile homes for temporary housing for

Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita storm victims. I

handed out work and tracked the progress of work from

site inspection to the applicants moving into their

temporary housing. I coordinated all aspects of the

project and attended FEMA meetings to communicate our

progress and gather information for future work.

Associated Grocers- Transportation Shift Supervisor

February 1999-December 2005

Supervised a shift of two clerks, three driver

supervisors, four yard spotters and 96 road drivers

servicing more than 300 grocery retailers located in

Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, and Alabama.

Directed outside maintenance for a fleet of 96

tractors and 130 trailers (obtain bids and schedule

maintenance with all outside vendors) and

communicated with on site contractual maintenance

provider. Led the implementation and use of an on

board computer system for our fleet of trucks (chose

the vendor, trained the drivers and provided day to

day support). Helped design an in-house yard

management system to track on site trailer movement.

I was also assigned to the Grocery Warehouse as a

Shift Supervisor for 1.5 years and supervised the

Warehouse Systems team for a short time after

beginning my career with the company as a driver

supervisor in the Transportation Department. While

working as a supervisor in the warehouse I helped

implement voice selection throughout the warehouse

(more than 150 order selectors).

United Parcel Service- Warehouse / Pre-Load Supervisor

March 1995- June 1999

As a pre-load supervisor I oversaw the loading of 34 package cars by

13 employees. I ensured their job was done properly

in a safe and timely manner. I kept track of each

employee's pay and attendance schedule to ensure

their pay was correct and they were properly

reprimanded for tardiness and absentees. I also

helped developed a new system of charts and load

diagrams that made the task of loading package cars

easier.

Performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 14 A-6E

"Intruders"; served in "Operation Provide Comfort"

off the coast of Kuwait and the Somalia crisis
