I have obtained my Bachelors degree in Food Science and Nutrition; thus far I have only managed to find

paid employment using the nutrition and business part of my degree. I would love a chance to enter the

food science aspect of my degree. I am loyal, efficient, and hard working. I do well in fast paced

environments. I can work either as a team or alone productively.

Work Experience

Children’s Advocate Programs Inc. Field Representative (June 2008-Present)

• I travel to licensed day cares in Minnesota and sign them up for the USDA Food Program. I train

providers about menu planning, creditable foods and serving sizes they need to follow while on

the program. I then have to visit them 3-4 times annually to make sure the Minnesota Department

of Education’s rules are being followed. I also help in putting together 2 nutrition trainings a year

and then presenting them 6-10 times a piece around Minnesota to providers that are signed under

CAPI.

Cole’s Embers America (July 2002-July 2005)

• I was in charge of 2-5 servers and a host at a time. I was to make sure things ran smoothly and the

customers remained satisfied with their visit. I gave breaks to servers, and I had my own sections

of tables to tend to as well. I did inventory once a week. I trained new servers and hosts in. I

tallied the till at the end of the night.
