Cashier
Customer service was perfected in this fast-paced, fast-food chain. Cash
handling and guest service were typical duties performed prior to hire. A
fun and polite personality ended up raising the bar on other Portillo's
cashiers. Upbeat and helpful, a slew of loyal customers began lining up day
after day. Unfortunately, a peak had been reached after 2+ years of taking
orders, cleaning, and cash handling and the beaming young girl, with a
longing to learn, had to move on and grow.
