Objective:

Seeking an entry level position in public relations.

Profile:

Editorial Experience:

I served as a writer for the Bethel Beacon for two semesters, as well as editing for

a semester. The articles I produced ranged from news, features, and sports. I have

also served as a photographer for the Beacon Staff and covered mainly sports.

Public Relations Experience:

Gained experience by producing numerous games summaries for the Bethel

Pilots baseball team and athletics Webpage. Also collaborated with Bethel’s Public

Relations office to work on a campaign marketed to potential students. As well as

having an article published in the alumni magazine, Bethel Magazine. Also, I

helped produce a personal selling campaign for a small security assessment

business in the South Bend area.

Proficiencies:

I have learned basic knowledge of digital photography and video photography. I

also have acquired basic knowledge of video editing. Also, I have worked with

Adobe Photoshop and I am familiar with Adobe Premiere.

Internship Experience:

I interned at The University of Notre Dame’s Sports Information Office. I helped do

daily tasks like finding old photos, scanning photos, mail. I also experienced and

worked some football games in the press box. I also helped out at men’s and

women’s basketball games. Tasks at basketball games included running stats to

transcribing quotes from press conferences.
