Work History: For several years, I have been self-employed, running a retail brick and mortar and internet website. I
have always been actively involved in the daily operations of running a retail store, from building maintenance to
customer care, doing whatever job necessary to complete a sale and maintain the inventory. My bead shop was 3000
sq. feet of beads, supplies, findings, eclectic home decor, copper ware and finished jewelry.
I taught classes to the public as well as participating in local events. NMBT was actively involved in the local bead
society and one of its website sponsors. NMBT also attended the Tucson International Gem & Mineral Show for buying
and selling purposes. I have had many years of experience in inside and outside sales, and management.

I was owner, self-employed entrepreneur. NMBT specialized in retail and wholesale trade to the industry. We had an extensive line of
semi-precious gemstones, pearls, findings, specialty tools and eclectic home decor. My employees produced a large portion of our
finished jewelry for resale. Our store offered on site classes. I was responsible for sales, training of staff, POS, scheduling, AP & AR,
customer care, purchasing, displays, building maintenance and all aspects of daily operation.

Stone buyer and Inventory control. I was responsible for inventory control of beads and bead supplies. I acted a one of the stone
buyers and coordinated the production of beaded jewelry designs by the local Native American contract stringers for resale. Our

I started with the company in the wax injection department and shortly became supervisor of the design product group. I was
responsible for the R&D of one of the company’s product lines. I attended the International Fashion Boutique Show in NYC,
recruiting wholesale buyers. I was liaison between the wax carvers, sales department and actual production of products. I worked
closely with the marketing and sales department and produced digital photography and catalog product pages.

I was a self-employed entrepreneur. Designed and produced via lost wax casting method, a jewelry line for resale. I did outside sales
at markets within NM and AZ. My diverse product line included Mexican rustic furniture, Pakistan textiles and copper ware.
I also did contract graphic design and textile printing (screen) for local schools, restaurants and specialty shops in NM and Ski Area’s
in northern Vermont.
