Professional Summary

In January of 1957, I went from High School into the United States Air

Force. I became a Radar Operator and was sent to Germany. After numerous

assignments around the World and different positions in the Air Force, I

was the Superintendent of the Regional Operations Center at Griffiss AFB,

Rome, New York, when I retired from the Air Force 1 November 1985.

I had an over lap of Military Service and working for General Electric (GE)

in Syracuse, New York. I went to work with GE in August of 1985, due to

unused leave in the Air Force, I was a Test and Evaluation Technician,

working on a new Radar System, the Over-The-Horizon-Back-Scatter-Radar

(OTH) System. In 1991 the Air Force closed the OTH System and GE sent me to

Pirincilik, Turkey, to work on the Space Track Site. We were responsible

for tracking all space objects and primarily Soviet Space Launches, since

we were the first to see these launches. I went over for one year and came

home after three years..

Upon my return to the State in 1994, I went to school to get my Real Estate

Brokers License. After school and passing the Colorado State Brokers Exam,

first time, I went to work for McGinnis Better Homes and Gardens, for on

the job training to become a Broker. In March of 1996 GE/Lockheed Martin,

Lockheed Martin purchased the division from GE, called me, wanting me to go

back to Turkey for another year. They made an offer I could not refuse, so

I took a year leave of absence from McGinnis, keeping my real estate

license active, and went back to Turkey for one more year. The Air Force

decided to close the Space Track Site in March of 1997. Lockheed decided to

treat this as a plant closure and let everyone retire that had more than 10

years with the company and over 55 years of age. I retired from Lockheed

Martin 1 April 1997.

I returned to McGinnis and continued my real estate practice in April 1997.

In 1998, I formed a partnership with another Real Estate Broker and we

opened 1st Colorado Springs Realty. We were a small independent real

estate company with five agents. I was also working with Custom Properties

selling new Custom Homes. In early 1999, we merge 1st Colorado Springs

Realty with RE/MAX Advantage. This did not work as expected, with the high

desk fees and limited business, we decided to break away and open a new

office. I opened Big Sky Realty in late 1999 and continued selling Custom

Built Homes for Custom Properties.. In 2002, I closed the Office and

started working out of my home and I still maintain a home office.
