EXTRACURR I CU LAR ACT I V I T I ES

Sports have always been a big part of my life. Even though I did not play softball in high school, I

p layed softball at a neighborhood league for nine years and still regularly go back to help run the snack

bar and fundraisers. I played basketball from fourth to eighth grade. My whole life I’ve been focused

on becoming an RN and now that I’m only about a year from nursing school, my goal is quickly

approaching. Volunteering at the VA Hospital was an experience I’m never going to forget. I t was my

f irst real hospital work and I loved every minute of it. I plan on graduating in 2012 with my BSN and

moving into labor and delivery.
