I Received an Honorable Mention in The American Legion's, National

Photography competition.

Then I was invited to become a member of New York Professional

Photographers Association (NYPPA).

And offered a position as a wedding photographer at Joselle and Joseph

studios in The Bronx, NY.

1980 to 1981

I Studied "Winning Portfolio Compilation" at The School of Visual Arts, New

York.

This course covered all aspects of photography, lighting, developing,

posing and make-up with an emphasis on the completed portfolio for a

Fashion Model Portfolios, Wedding & Catalogue photography.

1982 to 1984

Photographer for The United Negro College Fund with Muhammad Ali.

Photographer at The Miss New York Beauty Pageant.

Photographer for award ceremonies. Jim Curry Associates, New York, NY.

Photographer for Receptions Plus, New York, NY provided fill-in work as

requested through 1987.

1985 to Present

Established "Tom Wahlman Photography". I have photographed over 400

Weddings, Artist & Model Portfolios, Estate photography appraisals

authenticated by Christie's and Sotheby's The Head Start Programs featuring

Phylicia Rashad, Clients are Verizon, Gilberto Santa Rosa, JP Morgan/Chase,

Elevate.Com, The Hudson Valley Hospital Center, Urban Health Plan with

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, The Depository Trust & Clearing Corp, and

Elephant's Trunk of Westchester, Ltd., Philadelphia Bride Magazine Feature

Editorial

"The Gourmet Wedding" and others.
