Plant Project and Development Engineer/Maintenance Manager
> Manage budget of 2.5 million a year for R&M building and equipment
> Manage day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure proper and timely
equipment up-keep and project completion.
> Planning and troubleshooting of electromechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic,
HVAC, and ammonia systems.
> Compile a PSM program, 3-year compliance audit and direct the labor force
through an in-house training to assure compliance with Federal, State,
and local codes and regulations. Obtained SQF level 2 certification.
> Manage budget and inventory, and training for a department of (31) thirty-
one maintenance technicians including 3 parts and inventory clerksand (3)
three supervisors.
> Was direct maintenance report for a 30,000-ft. warehouse expansion in
2001, as well as being in charge of plant security, building, and
grounds.
> Interface with department management on daily basis regarding maintenance

> Designed Cull grinder that resulted in excess of 65 K in cost reductions

> Reduced production labor costs by designing an implementing a missing
masterpack detector.

> Have reduced Plant mechanical downtime by 8% in the last quarter to an
all time plant low of 1.75% average for the year on a 6 day week and 2.6%
on 7 day operations

> Led successful project to rebuild our Hayssen vertical form fill seal
baggers both electrically and mechanically saving the company $11,000 per
bagger and used it as a training tool to increase efficiency.

> Interfaced and directed contractors to optimize plant layout and conveyor
systems.
> Responsible for hiring and managing departmental employees.
> Department consisted of 19 maintenance technicians, 2 preventative
technicians, 1 parts clerk, 10 custodial employees, and two maintenance
leads.
> Responsible for tracking equipment history and parts through utilization
of Maximo system.
> Interfaced with corporate engineers to implement PM system, plant start-
up, and day-to-day plant operations.
> Maintained over 10 miles of conveyor systems, 43,000 pounds of ammonia
refrigeration systems, 9 ASRS cranes at one of the most automated
distribution centers in North American with over 1,000,000 sq. ft. and
running 167 cases per minute.

Maintenance Manager
> Responsible for all aspects of the maintenance for a high-speed bread,
bun, and sweet goods plant.
> Managed 29 maintenance technicians, one parts clerk, and 3 shift
supervisors.
> Developed, planned, and implemented equipment upgrades to existing
equipment which increased production speed on bread lines from 72 loaves
a minute to 120 loaves. Received recognition for outstanding performance.

Maintenance Manager
> Responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance for a high-speed bread
and bun production plant.
> Implemented the first PM program which increased efficiency and dropped
plant down time by 21% by the first quarter the program was implemented.
> Responsible for all purchasing, CER's, plant upkeep, and a maintenance
crew of 18 Mechanics, 2 Supervisors, and 3 Lead employees.
> Responsibilities included troubleshooting and upkeep of electrical,
mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and systems. Troubleshooting
and upkeep also included Kewanee and Crane boilers, and freon HVAC and
refrigeration.
> Plant was a high-speed bakery capable of producing 165 loaves of bread
per minute and 1,400 buns per minute.
> Other projects included design and layout of new bread and bun line and
supervising a 40,000 sq.ft. expansion
